The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children

The charity was re-launched in 1999 to continue its commitment to provide assistance to children suffering from cancer and support to their families during and following what is often exhaustive treatment. The charity is located at  Curlew Pavillion, Portside Business Park, Airport Road West, Belfast BT3 9ED.  A newsletter is produced twice annually to create increased awareness of this extremely worthy charity.  It features editorial on the work of the charity and ongoing projects throughout the year and news on developments in the field of research into treatment of the various forms of cancer, particularly affecting young people.

A jewel in the charity’s crown is their holiday house situated at the foot of the beautiful Mourne Mountains in Newcastle, County Down, where children and their families can convalesce in tranquil surroundings, during and following treatment.
